If you don’t want to fill your CityVille city with residential buildings, but you want to have as many people as possible living in your city, there is now a chance after Zynga has introduced in the game the concept of Dynamic Population increase: starting today, every time you collect from a residence it has a chance to drop additional population!
This means that now residences have a basic population cap (population that you get when you finish the building) and a maximum population cap, which will be reached randomly after collecting from that type of building. Also, the amount of each “upgrade” of the population cap varies according to the maximum population of each residence.
These population drops are rare, however, and according to Zynga, the only way to increase the chances of seeing them dropped and therefore seeing your population increased is to collect often from your residential buildings!
